To simplify things for those unfamiliar with the city, we've provided some details to help with your travel and accommodation arrangements along with a brief history of the aproximately 300 year old venue. The Dickens Inn is located a short walk from Tower Bridge at the follwoing address: 50 St Katharine's Way, London E1W 1LA

A Breif History

The Dickens Inn, a historic warehouse near Tower Bridge, dates back to the early 1700s and may have served as a tea factory or brewery. Originally located slightly east of its current spot, it was moved 70 meters in the 1970s to make way for housing. Restored using its original timbers and ironwork, it was rebuilt as a three-story balconied inn. Opened in May 1976 by Charles Dickens’ grandson, Cedric Charles Dickens, the inn reflects the author’s love for Thameside and East London, often featured in his works.
